Joe Espalin passed away on Monday, January 21, 2002 in Albuquerque. He is survived by his son, Rick Espalin of Albuquerque; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Priscilla Quintana and husband, Alonzo of Cerro, NM and Helen Stevens of Alameda, NM; one brother, Robert Espalin and wife, Dolores of Alameda, NM; caregiver, Debbie Baca and husband, Richard of Cerro, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing and Rosary will be held on Friday, January 25, 2002 at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Church, 9502 4th St. NW, Albuquerque, NM at 9:30 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. with burial following at San Carlos Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phil Duran, John Espalin, Jared Huling, Mark Selph, Robert Duran, Michael Banuelos and Frank Gallegos. Honorable Pallbearers will be John Duran and Richard Baca.
