Louis Tapia, 47, went home to be with the Lord on January 28, 2002. He was born on June 25, 1954 in Pastura, NM. Louis worked for Chava Trucking for seven years. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Coriz-Tapia; son, Louis Tapia; daughter, Peggy Brockman and husband, Kirk; brothers, Leonard Tapia and wife, Linda and Dennis Tapia and wife, Susan; sisters, Darla Alarcon and husband, Bobby, Cecilia Cordova and husband, Tommy and Mary Rose Jimenez and husband, Max; grandchildren, Brooke Brockman, Kyle Brockman, Isabela Tapia and Valerie Tapia; Godchildren, Haley Lynn Chama, Geraldine Eloisa Chama, Brandon Keith Coriz and Bryson Kurt Coriz. Mr. Tapia will be deeply missed by his loving family. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, February 1, 2002 at St. Anne's Church at 7:00 p.m. in Tucumcari, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 2, 2002 at St. Anne's Church at 11:00 a.m. also in Tucumcari, NM. Interment will follow at the Tucumcari Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Lorenzo Coriz, Aaron Chama, Marcelino Coriz, Donicio Chama, Max Jimenez Jr., Gabriel Ramirez, Abel Sena, Antonio Cordova, Matthew Tapia and Dennis Tapia Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brooke Brockman, Kyle Brockman, Isabela Tapia, Valerie Tapia, Haley Lynn Chama, Geraldine Eloisa Chama, Brandon Keith Coriz and Bryson Kurt Coriz.
