Barbara Ann Scotten, 69, a resident of Albuquerque for 50 years, died January 28, 2002. She is survived by her sons, Jeff Scotten and wife, Susan of California, and Richard Scotten of Albuquerque; grandson, Adam Scotten; granddaughter, Jessica Scotten, both of California; brother, William Atkins and wife, Margaret Alacoque of Albuquerque; nephews, James Atkins, Matthew Atkins, Mark Atkins, John Atkins, and Luke Atkins; nieces, Helen Kurtz and Mary Williams; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Barbara was a member of the Koi Club. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Aspen Funeral Alternatives Chapel, 1935 Juan Tabo NE. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations by made to The Nature Conservancy, 4245 Fairfax Drive Suite 100, Arlington, Virginia 22203. A lover of all things, we will miss you dearly.
