Obituary for Perry

Wade F. Perry, 92, a resident of Albuquerque for 62 years, passed away Monday, February 11, 2002. Mr. Perry was born August 6, 1909 in Pittsboro, N.C., to the late Walker R. Perry and Mary Ann Perry. He was a loving husband of 71 years to, Lillian Perry; one daughter, Ann P. Eller of Greensboro, N.C.; two sons, Donald W. Perry and David E. Perry and wife, Linda, all of Albuquerque; four grandchildren, Michael Eller and wife, Gina of Trinity, N.C., Steve Eller of Chicago, IL, John Perry and wife, Janelle of Tucson, AZ, and Lisa Todd and husband, Jerry of Albuquerque; and two great-grandchildren, Cory Eller and Allison Eller. Mr. Perry retired from the New Mexico State Highway Department in 1974, after 35 years of service. He was a member of Albuquerque Elks Lodge #461 for 58 years and was a 51er. Services will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Dr. Charles Crutchfield officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Michael Eller, Steve Eller, John Perry, Bill Rice, L.G. Boles, John Whiteman, Tony Kujava and Kyle Bud Warren. There will be a gathering of family and friends following the services at the Albuquerque Elks Lodge #461, 2430 Centre SE, Yale & Gibson. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
