Lino M. Montano, age 78, a life-long resident of New Mexico died February 13, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Clorinda Montano of Albuquerque, NM; son, Joseph A. Montano and wife, Sandra of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Frances Sanchez and husband, Eloy of Los Lunas, NM; also many nieces and nephews. Lino retired from the NM National Guard in 1983 as Command Sergeant Major, He was a Veteran of WWII and was a member of the D. A. V. Lino was a member to the Queen of Heaven Parish. A Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2002 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church 5311 Phoenix Ave NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2002 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE is handling his arrangements.
