John C. Gonzales, 77, a retired Santa Fe Railroad employee and a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, born on August 8, 1924, passed away on February 15, 2002. John is survived by his brother, Placido Gonzales of Albuquerque; four sisters, Virginia Placencia of Albuquerque, Carmen Chavez of Albuquerque, Mary Helen Sackett of Pahrump, Nevada and Eva Diaz of Albuquerque. Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held Saturday, February 23, 2002 at 9:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church located at 2400 South Broadway SW with Father Joaquin, officiating
