Jane Atkins, 59, a 42-year resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, February 19, 2002. She is survived by her son, J. Randall"Randy" Atkins and wife, Sheeree; and granddaughter, Maggie Atkins, all of Texas; parents, Randall and Doris Cain of Albuquerque; brother, James Atkins of Georgia; sister, Suzanne Busch and husband, Robert of Albuquerque and Marsha Ranks and husband, James of Oklahoma; and nephews and nieces, Jeff, Jennifer, Kristina, and Matthew. Jane was proud to serve in the US Navy and proud to work at the VA Hospital until her retirement. Services will be held Friday, February 22, 2002, 1:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul NE, with Rev. Edward Katzenberger officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Thursday, February 21, 2002, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
