Reymundo A. Lucero was born October 8, 1918 in Anton Chico, NM. He passed away February 25, 2002 in Albuquerque. He was a member of the Catholic Church and retired from the Albuquerque Public Schools. Reymundo is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ramona Lucero of the family home; three sons Jose R. Lucero and wife, Loretta, Joe A. Lucero, Alfred H. Lucero and wife, Mary; five daughters, Virginia Vigil, Beatrice Velasquez and husband, Cayetano, Patsy Sanchez, Roselee Barela and husband, Richard, Lillian Aragon and husband, Art; one brother, Luis Lucero; two sisters, Victoria Montoya and Magdeline Padilla; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco SW.. A viewing will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2002 followed by a Rosary that will be recited at 5:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2002 with entombment following at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum.
