Wretha Z. Douglass Dowler, 84, a resident of the Albuquerque area since 1938, died Saturday, February 23, 2002 at her home in Bosque Farms, NM. She is survived by her daughters, Pat Sasser and husband, Charles of Bosque Farms, and Karen Bryan and husband, Dan of Clayton, NM; son, Robert Douglas and wife, Shiela of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Wanda Sartain, of Phoenix, AZ, who was like a daughter to Wretha; sister, Bonnie Littlefield of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends. Wretha was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert A. Douglass and Jay Dowler. Wretha was born in Grenville, NM on August 23, 1917. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2002, 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd, NE with Jim Price officiating. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Paul Sasser, Danny Bryan, Damon Douglass, Brad Ethridge, Lawrence Abeyta, and Tom Cook. Arrangements by French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
