Obituary for HALL

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Wednesday October 27, 2004

James Francis Hall. It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and husband. James passed quickly from a recently diagnosed brain tumor on October 23, 2004. James was the husband of Margaret Burton-Hall. He is also fondly and lovingly remembered by his sister, Noreen Hall-Bowden; his son, Russell Anderson; and his daughters, Diana Hubbert, Beth Brizee, and Erin Morin. James is also survived by his grandchildren; Evan Anderson, Lauren and Sean Hubbert, Morgan and Taylor Brizee, and Ovid and Elizabeth Morin. He is also tenderly remembered by his three nephews, Brian, Brett, and Bennett Koester; and many friends and extended family members. James attended school in Brooklyn, New York where he was born on October 22, 1934 to William John Hall and Marguerite Ellis Hall, both from Ireland. James graduated from St. Michaels D.H.S. January 28, 1952. He graduated with studies in aeronautical engineering from St. Louis University and went directly to build an exemplary career with the U.S. Air Force. After twenty-two years as an Air Force navigator, working with SAT, MAC, TAC, Project Blue Book, and Compass Arrow, he retired with pride - having served his country with passion. He then worked for twelve years for the U.S. Postal Service. He was devoted to his family and friends. James took many trips to Arizona and California to see his grandchildren born and raised. Services were held for the family on Sunday, October 24, 2004. James leaves a legacy of love, care, and humor that will be carried in the hearts of those blessed enough to have come to know James Hall. SUNRISE FUNERAL OPTIONS RIO RANCHO, NM (505)891-9192
