Mrs. Catherine S. Patton, mom, grandma, grams and gaga, 89, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2002. Mrs. Patton was a lifelong resident of Wheaton, Illinois but spent her final 1 1/2 years with her daughters in Corrales, New Mexico. Mrs. Patton was preceded in death by Harvey L. Patton, her husband of 51 years. Mrs. Patton is survived by her daughters, Jean Fink and husband Jim, Nancy Lindsay and husband, Ralph; grandchildren, Lisa Barbieri and husband, Dave, Heather Lockman, Jennifer Seitz and husband, Nick, Jeffrey Fisher, Sean Lefkovitz, Sara Lindsay, Hannah Lindsay, Katherine Lindsay and Jill Lindsay; great-granddaughters, Jazzmin Forakis and Tatum Forakis; a sister, Eleanora Straka; sisters-in-law, Margaret Sauer, Flora Patton and Norma Nolle; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Catherine will be remembered as Wheaton's CIty Treasurer until her marriage in 1948. Visitation will be Saturday morning March 9, 2002 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the William Kampp and Roosevelt Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Wheaton, Illinois on her 90th birthday. Williams Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Rossevelt Rd. Wheaton, Illinois and Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW are in charge of the arrangements.
