Joseph R. Johnston, 58, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Johnston of Albuquerque; daughter, Rebekah Billingsley, husband Eric and grandson, Gabriel Billingsley of Albuquerque; daughters, Jennifer Johnston of Silver City, Nicole Soto, husband, Ray and granddaughter, Marisa of Albuquerque. Mr. Johnston was retired from the Federal Government, after 25 years of service. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and memorial prayer services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2002, at 5:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Deacon Manuel Montoya officiating.
