Matthew "Matt" Moore, 15, a resident of Albuquerque, died, Saturday, March 9, 2002. He is survived by his parents, Fred and Linda Moore; sister, Meghan Moore; brothers, Michael Moore and Mitchell Moore; grandmother, Marie Moore, all of Albuquerque; numerous other family members; and friends. Matt was a student at La Cueva High School and a member of the Freshman Football Team, which was 2001 City Champions. He enjoyed playing the electric guitar, writing music lyrics, riding dirt bikes and snowboarding. Services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2002, at 12:00 p.m., at Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10704 Paseo del Norte NE, with Rev. Dewey Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Wednesday, March 13, 2002, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Matt, to Carrie Tingley Children's Foundation, 1127 University NE, Suite 2019, Albuquerque, NM, 87102.
