Christopher Kirkbride, 20, a resident of Moriarty, died Monday, March 11, 2002. He is survived by his parents, Carl and Susan Kirkbride of Moriarty; brothers, Carl "Arty" Kirkbride, Jason Kirkbride, and Shawn Kirkbride, all of Moriarty; sister, Angelica Kirkbride of Moriarty; and many relatives and friends. Christopher was born in Albuquerque and raised in Moriarty. He loved cooking and spent the past two years working as a chef. His church was a very important part of his life. He was a very devout Christian. Christopher was a very happy person who spread his cheer to everyone he came in contact with. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 15, 2002, 1:30 p.m., at Mountainview Cemetery in Moriarty, with Pastor Rick Brittain officiating. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd., Thursday, March 14, 2002, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of NM, 5301 Central NE, Suite 203, 87108.
