Obituary for Doyle

Edna Doyle, 80 passed away at the home of her daughter Alex Beach on Monday, March 18, 2002. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bernard P. Doyle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Grace Clarke; and three brothers, Alex, Wilbur, and Fredrick Clarke. Other survivors include her daughters, Alex Beach and husband, Arthur, Anne Ferguson, Stacey Poindexter and husband, Robert; son, Luke Doyle and wife, Cynthia; grandchildren, Eric Beach, Jesse, Kelly, and Ben Ferguson, Katie and Audrey Poindexter, Clarke, Whitney, and Lindsay Doyle. Edna graduated from Texas State College for Women in 1942 where she was senior class president, three times Rosebud Princess and eventually Rosebud Queen at Texas A&M University. She loved to read, play bridge, knit, and toll paint. Her sense of humor and kind heart remained with her until the end. Cremation has taken place. Father Michael Demkovich will celebrate a Memorial Mass on Monday, March 25, 2002,10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center, 1815 Las Lomas NE on the UNM campus.
