Mr. Albert "Shorty" Barros died Saturday, March 16, 2002 in Albuquerque at the age of 64. Mr. Barros is survived by his son, Dino Barros; daughters, Gina Barros, Marina Barros and husband, Richard Barros, and Denise"Neesee" Garcia, who he treated as a daughter; father, Joe M. Barros; mother, Isabel Z. Barros; four grandchildren, Cheryl, Casandra, Ginay and Mylina Barros; and many close friends and relatives. Funeral Services for Mr. Barros will be held on Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lupe Juarez, Andrew Lovato, Richard Barros, Raymond Gandara, Bobby Montoya, and Billy Navarette. Honorary pallbearers will be Victor Salazar and Marcella Anzures. A Rosary for Mr. Barros will be recited on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
