Joseph Suknot, Jr., 85, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2002 after an extended illness. He was born in Sioux City, Iowa in 1917 and moved to Albuquerque in 1955 to work as a Drafting Supervisor for Sandia Laboratories where he was employed for 26 years until his retirement in 1981. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Ruby K. Suknot. He is survived by Mary Kathleen Suknot of Los Angeles; her sons, Carl Jackson of Los Angeles and Eric Crawford of Phoenix; Susan Suknot of Peralta; Daniel Suknot, wife, Donna Vesel and daughter, Erin Suknot all of Albuquerque; Anita Latimer of Waterville, WA and husband, Ron; Lynn Suknot of Albuquerque; Shirley Suknot of Seattle, WA; Ron Suknot, son, Ronnie Suknot and daughter, Kari Suknot all of Albuquerque. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Monday, March 25 at 3:00 p.m. at Aspen Funeral Alternatives Chapel, 1935 Juan Tabo NE. Friends are invited to the family home after the Memorial Service at 632 Florida SE to share their memories of Joe.
