Sammy Allison died in Long Beach, California March 9, 2002. She was a longtime resident of Albuquerque, an active member of the First Church of Christ Scientist here and was a Reader for her church in San Francisco. She is well-remembered by the legal profession in Albuquerque for her association with the Modrall firm and as a court reporter for the District Court. She is survived by her three childen and their families, Stephanie Burgess, her children, Bruce and Sandra Burgess, their daughter, Natalie, and Stephanie and Ted Marker, all of Long Beach, California; Mark and Connie Vickers of Roswell, and their children, Benjamin, Michael and Kristin; Sam Nour of Albuquerque, and his son, Jamaal Nour, and by her sister, Margaret Barnard of Kansas City, Missouri; and a host of loving friends here and in various parts of the world.
