John J. Peterson, a resident of Albuquerque since 1983, passed away on March 18, 2002 after a short illness. He was 84. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor; and one son, Mark. He is survived by three sons, John F. and wife, Peggy of Sterling, CO, Thomas M. and wife, Marjorie, and Timothy P. all of Albuquerque; four grandchildren, John, Mark, Elizabeth and Eric; and one sister, Doreen Given of Nevada, IA. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24, Cross of Hope Lutheran Church, Taylor Ranch. Private interment Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Manzano del Sol Health Care Center or to Cross of Hope. The family wishes to thank the staff at Manzano del Sol for their loving care.
