Maria Carriaga, age 69, left her family to join the Lord, Tuesday, March 19, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Felix Carriaga; mother, Rebecca Sanchez; two sons, John Sanchez and wife, Jane, Paul Carriaga and wife, Yvette; daughter, Lupita Apodaca and husband, Matthew; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Steven Nester Sanchez; two sisters, Gloria Rael and Jenny Garcia. Memorial Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Rd. SW. A Memorial Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm on Friday, March 22, 2002. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2002. Private family burial will take place at a later date. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
