Obituary for Baca

Roselyn L. Baca went home to be with Jesus on March 20, 2002. She was a lifelong resident of New Mexico and an active member of John XXIII Catholic Community, Pan American Round Table #3, Catholic Daughters, and Professional Secretaries Association. She was preceded in death by her father, Gillie Luna in 1975 and is survived by her mother, Sylvestra Luna of Albuquerque; three children, Dr. Randolph Baca of Arvada, CO, and Denise Baca Campbell and MariaElena Baca, both of Albuquerque; a brother, Dr. Gilbert Luna and wife, Elvira of Albuquerque; six grandchildren, James and Amber Mares, Amber Campbell, Cameron Cnare, Jeffery Baca and Chaniece Cnare; and two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Misty Mares. Visitation will be Friday, March 22, 2002 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chapel of Sandia, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE followed by a Rosary recited at 8:00 p.m. by Rev. Arkad Biczak. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23 at John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Drive NE, with Rev. Arkad Biczak as Celebrant. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Mares, Cameron Cnare, Jeffery Baca, Joseph Sanchez, Donald Moya and Ernest Luna. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 90790, Albuquerque, NM 87199-0790 or to a favorite charity of your choice.
