Obituary for Mares

Cynthia M. Mares, 42, a resident of Pena Blanca, New Mexico passed away on March 29, 2002. Cynthia is the beloved daughter to Richard (Dick) A. and Josie M. Mares. Cynthia is also survived by her brothers, Arthur Mares and wife, Mary, Gilbert Mares and wife, Carmen, Richard Mares and wife, Jackie, Dennis Mares and wife, Rena and John Mares; her fiance, Anthony Aragon; five nieces, Denise, April, Alana, Holly and Danielle; ten nephews, Leonard, Ernie, Angelo, Sam (Mikey), Matthew, Brian, John Jr., Joshua, Eliseo and Adan; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Cythina was a member of the Catholic Church and worked for the Bernalillo Public Schools for 21 years. A visitation will be Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pena Blanca with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by the Cenacle Group. A final visitation will be Wednesday morning after 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Pena Blanca. Pallbearers will be, Leonard Mares, Angelo Mares, Ernie Lovato, Sam (Mikey) Mares, Steve Ortiz and Steve Baca; honorary pallbearers will be, Denise Mares, April Mares, Alana Mares, Holly Mares, Matthew Mares and John Mares Jr. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
