Obituary for Naranjo

Mr. Delfin B. Naranjo, 77, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on April 3, 2002. Mr. Naranjo is survived by his loving children, Deborah Espinoza and husband, Bobby, Robert Naranjo and wife, Julia, Mark Naranjo and wife, Linda and Budgie Naranjo and wife, Carla; two sisters, Agnes Metzgar and husband, Archie, Estella Espinosa and husband, Manuel; a friend, Minnie Harper; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Naranjo is preceded in death by his parents, Delfin and Gertrude Naranjo; a brother, Louie and a sister, Margaret. Mr. Naranjo was a member of the Catholic Church, a member of the D.A.V., and member of the Holy Rosary Choir, a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War I I, served in the Europeon Theater Operations and he received the Good Conduct Medal. A viewing will be Friday afternoon in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. A visitation will be Friday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. A final viewing will be Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Larry Naranjo, Mark Naranjo, Budgie Naranjo, Jessie Lopez, Gabriel Large and David Naranjo. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of arrangements.
