Louis Kazanecki, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1971, died Thursday, March 28, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Marie Kazanecki of Albuquerque; daughters, Christine Weigt and husband, Nathan of Oregon, WI and Mary Etmanczyk and husband, James of Madison, WI; two granddaughters, Laura (Brian) Weber and Mara Etmanczyk; a great-granddaughter, Caroline Weber; and two nephews, Thomas Kazanecki of St. Louis, MO and Tim Kazanecki of Tyner IN. A WWII veteran, Mr. Kazanecki served in the United States Coast Guard from 1941-1946. Mr. Kazanecki was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd. He was also a member, for over 50 years, of Dells Masonic Lodge #124 in Wisconsin Dells, WI. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with the Reverend Stephen J. Miller officiating. Interment of cremains will take place at a later date in Santa Fe National Cemetery.
