Mrs. Doris J. (Hita) vonHentschel, 57, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on April 7, 2002. Mrs. vonHentschel is the beloved wife of 36 years to Charles (Chuck) vonHentschel Sr. She is also survived by three daughters; Ginger Gomez and husband Tom, Erika vonHentschel and husband Paul Romero, Rebecca vonHentschel and fiance Robert Gomez; one son, Charles (Chuckie) vonHentschel Jr. and wife Cynthia; her mother, Rose Baca; two brothers, Willie Baca Jr. and fiance Lydia Cortez and Leroy Baca; nine grandchildren, Kristian, Adrian, Lemuel, Amara, Sorayah, Ryan, Austin, Bria and Isaac; a special nephew, Nathaniel Baca; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. vonHentschel was a member of the El Buen Samaritano United Methodist Church and was a loving caregiver to the world. A visitation will be Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. A final visitation will be Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Funeral Service to be held at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Jesus Bermundez will officiate the Prayer Service and Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Charles (Chuckie) vonHentschel Jr., Leroy Baca, Nathaniel Baca, Robert Gomez, Tom Gomez and Paul Romero. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW in charge of the arrangements.
