Mary L. Spackeen, "Granny," 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1958, and a widow, died Sunday, April 7, 2002. She is survived by her son, Stanley G. Gerlach; daughter, Katherine J. Davis; stepsons, Robert D. Aubrey and family, all of Albuquerque and David P. Spackeen and family, all of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, James D. Davis and wife Sonya, Laura L. Davis, John W. Davis and wife Stephanie and Gail E. Davis; and great-grandson, Spencer J. Davis. Services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul NE, with Chaplain Larry Wills officiating. Entombment will follow the service. Contributions may be made to the New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranch, 6209 Hendrix NE, 87110. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
