Obituary for Castillo

Randy F. Castillo went on to be with the Lord March 26, 2002 in Las Angeles, California. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Castillo; his step-father, Florencio Gonzales; four sisters, Frances Horton and her husband, Steve, Marilyn Sanchez and her husband, Chris, Phyllis Castillo and her fiance, Michael Martinez, Christine Castillo all of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Catholic Church, he graduated from West Mesa High School and he attended the University of Albuquerque. Randy was an accomplished drummer who played with Ozzy Osbourne, Motley Crue, Lita Ford and many other bands as he climbed the ladder of success. Services were held Saturday, March 30, 2002 at Forest Lawn Mortuary in Hollywood Hills, California. He was brought back to Albuquerque where a private services were held Thursday, April 4, 2002 at the Fitzgerald & son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle N.E. Pallbearers in Albuquerque were Paul Blazek, George Vento, Dave Martin, Brandon Wagner, Mike Inez, Phil Sousson, J.R. Sainz, Jeremy Carr and Whitey. Entombment followed in the Mt. Calvary Mausoleum. The family would like to thank his many friends and world wide fans for their support during this time. A memorial fund has been set up at the Wells Fargo Bank.
