Elenore A. Lewis, 60, died unexpectedly of natural causes, Tuesday, April 9, 2002. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Richard T. Lewis of Hobbs, NM; sister, Karen M. Spruill and husband, Dr. Jan of Ft. Collins, CO; nieces, Sara and Jennifer Lewis, Angie Spruill, and Dr. Natalie Spruill Burman; and nephew, Blaine Spruill. Elenore graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Elenore retired after a 30-year career with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas in 1996. She worked for the Albuquerque Public Library before and after Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Elenore deeply valued many precious friendships and she will be missed by all. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Saturday, 3:00 p.m., at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Contributions may be made to Albuquerque Public Library, Attn: Administration, 501 Copper NW, 87102.
