Rose Mary Lord, age 55, died on April 17, 2002 in Albuquerque. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Rio Rancho and her Lord and family were priority in her life. Rose Mary was a very loving, caring person who never met a stranger. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting, especially wild turkeys. She was preceded in death by her mother, Christiana Gutierrez, in 1997. Rose Mary will be dearly missed by family and friends who survive her, including husband, Wayne Lord; and son, Andrew; and her father, Catrino Gutierrez. Also surviving are four sisters, Betty Marquez and husband, Richard, Aurora Gonzales, Lulu Trujillo and husband, Freddie, and Susie Torres and husband, Ray; a brother, Walter Gutierrez; numerous nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of good friends. Viewing will be from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2002 at First Baptist Church in Rio Rancho. Services will follow at 11:00 am Friday with Pastor Si Budagher officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory in Minden, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
