Robert J. "Bob" Wisniewski, Sr., 49, a resident of Albuquerque since 1975, died Saturday, April 20, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Alice Wisniewski; son, Robert Wisniewski, Jr. and wife, Tabitha of Walls, MS; daughter, Aprille Wisniewski and son, Kevin Wisniewski, both of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Luke and Jacob Wisniewski of Walls, MS; parents, Edmund and Margaret Wisniewski of Bourbonnais, IL; brother, Dave Wisniewski; and four sisters, Patricia Garrity, Judith Schwachtgen, Lori Picciola and Rita Kinney. Mr. Wisniewski was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Wisniewski. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked for the National Weather Service for 25 years. A Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2002, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, April 24, 2002, 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School NE, with Father William McCarren, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:00 noon. Pallbearers will be John Stubbs, Joe Alfieri, Kerry Jones, Bobby Franco, Neil Haley and Mike McLaughlin. Friends may visit Tuesday, April 23, 2002, from 6:00 p.m. to time of Prayer Service.
