Mr. Gaspar Griego, 78, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on April 22, 2002. Mr. Griego is survived by his loving sister, Margaret Martinez and by many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Griego was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. A visitation for Mr. Griego will be Wednesday afternoon in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. A Visitation will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griego Rd. NW Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. A final Visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Joe Vigil. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with full Military Honors by the D.A.V. #3. The family will be at the house of his niece, Lupe Adams. Pallbearers will be, Zeke Sanchez, Dave Lyons, Arthur Wiest, Michael Griego, Justie Martinez and Patrick Linebarger. Honorary pallbearers will be, Richard Martinez, Paul Martinez and Gilbert Griego. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW in charge of the arrangements.
