Obituary for Cummings

Mary K. Williams-Cummings, 66, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and a resident of Albuquerque since 1970, died Sunday, April 28, 2002. She is survived by her husband of nine months, Verlin D. Cummings of Albuquerque; daughters, Terry Sue Torrison and husband, William of Las Cruces and Kaye Willliams-Knapp and husband, John of Albuquerque; sons, Ronald Williams and wife, Jane and Robert Williams and wife, Rebecca, all of Richmond, VA; stepson, Verlin D. Cummings, Jr., of Albuquerque; brother, Rev. Ralph Dale and wife, Ellen of Gastonia, NC; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many relatives and special friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 39 years, Richard A. Williams; and brother, Lloyd A. Dale. Mary was a life member of the German-American Club Edelweiss AM Rio Grande, a life member of V.F.W. 401 Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Post 99 Ladies Auxiliary. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Ralph Dale officiating. Interment of cremains will follow at 2:30 p.m., at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
