Obituary for Shreve

Ernest J. Shreve passed away in his sleep on December 5, 2001 in the home of his niece, Lib Linton of Gautier, MS. He was born March 10, 1923. Ernie served in the US Marine Corps during WWII. He had previously lived in Pueblo, CO and Rio Rancho, NM before retiring from Keenan Supply and moving to Mississippi. Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, Lon and Myrtle Shreve; two sisters; one brother; and his loving wife, Ruth. He is survived by his son, Jerry and wife, Marilyn; granddaughters, Stacie and Christy; and one great-grandson; one brother, Bill Shreve of Salix, IA; three sisters, Nellie Sutton of Cortez, CO, Nola Kinsey of Amarillo, TX, and Hazel Cooper of San Manuel, AZ; and many nieces and nephews and lifelong friends. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. in Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho, NM with Military Honors being presented by the New Mexico Honor Guard.
