Obituary for Moye

Madonna M. Moye, born in Kokomo, Indiana on June 21, 1912, to John and Carrie Priesthoff, passed away on May 4, 2002. Madonna moved to Albuquerque in October of 1938. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald E. Moye, whom she married in June of 1940; and their three sons, J. Robert and wife, Betty Ann of Seattle, William J. and wife, Laurie and J. Michael and wife, Carol, all of Albuquerque; a sister, Mrs. Florence Peters of Tucson; four grandsons, Scot Moye and wife, Linley of Portland, Bryan Moye and wife, Marguerite of Los Angeles, Paul Moye and wife, Sarah of Seattle, and Jason Moye and wife, Claire of Davenport; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. ¯Donna¯ was a member of Immaculate Conception parish. For 58 years she was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Santa Maria #317. She was also active in the National Federated Republican Women, Zia Chapter, St. Joseph Auxiliary, and a volunteer at St. Joseph Medical Center. She graduated from the Western School for Private Secretaries and was in the accounting business with her husband for 30 years. A rosary will be recited Wednesday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, Thursday, 9:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Scot Moye, Bryan Moye, Paul Moye, Jason Moye, Christopher Wiggins and Seth Wiggins. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
