Obituary for Acosta

Juan Acosta, 50, passed away peacefully at his family home on May 4, 2002. Juan is survived by his wife, Charlene; his parents, Elpidio and Rosa Acosta; a son, Jarin Acosta of Delicias, Mexico; daughters, Leslie Acosta of Albuquerque and Sandra Martinez and husband, Ricardo of Chicago; stepchildren, Eppie Lopez and wife, Dolores of Durango, Colorado, Robert Lopez and wife, Mary Eleen, Charlotte Lopez-Rousseau and husband, Paul of Albuquerque; brothers, Jaime and Mario Acosta of CA; ten grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Juan was a member of the Catholic Church and had worked at General Electric for over 20 years. His last job was as a machinist. Juan was a member of Local Lodge 784. He loved his job and had hoped to return to work. He loved music and played the guitar. A vistitation will be Wedneday morning frm 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Father Manuel Viera. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Lopez, Eppie Lopez, Jarin Acosta, Mario Acosta, Jaime Acosta and Ernest Lucero. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlotte Lopez-Rousseau, Mary Ellen Lopez and Dolores Lopez. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
