Joseph L. Garcia, born on August 22, 1926 and went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on May 5, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Romie of 52 years; seven children; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Stanley; a grandchild, Keith; and several brothers and sisters. A Rosary will be recited at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, 1502 Sara Rd., SE, Rio Rancho at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2002. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish in Jemez Springs on Saturday, May 11, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the National Kidney Foundation, P.O. Box 14238, Albuquerque, NM 87191.
