Obituary for Crespin

Pedro Crespin went to the arms of his heavenly Father on May 8, 2002. He was born on May 19,1903 in El Sapello, New Mexico to Miguel Crespin and Canutita Pacheco. He farmed in Trujillo, New Mexico and in Alameda most of his life. He retired from the New Mexico State Highway Department as a foreman in 1968 after 30 years of service. Pedro was a very loving father; father-in-law; and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Amadita; sons, Herman, Aniceto, and Mike Crespin; and several grandchildren. He is survived by his sister, Beatrice Garcia; brother-in-law, Roman Duran and wife, Ruby, sister-in- law, Ignacia Lujan; a very special daughter, Emerlinda Crespin, who devoted her entire life to taking care of him; daughters, Tina Martinez and husband, Andres, Rita Jaramillo and husband, Leon; daughter-in-law, Josephine LeFebre; sons, Tony and wife, Francis, Joe and wife, Jennie, Julio and wife, Connie Juan Carrito and wife, Sunshine. He is also survived by 46 grandchildren; and over 100 great and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mr. Crespin will be held on Saturday at Nativity Of The Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery. The Pallbeares will be his grandsons; Emilio Crespin, Martin Crespin, Frank Martinez, Tino Crespin, Pedro Crespin, Leon Jaramillo Jr, Eddie Crespin and Vicente Crespin. Honorary Pallbearers will be all his granchildren A Rosary will be held Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity Of The Blessed Virgin Mary Church.
