Donald James"DJ" Smith, 43, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died Monday, May 13, 2002. He is survived by his sons, James Joseph Smith and Jerod Christopher Smith, both of Moriarity; parents, Don and Darlene Smith of Sandia Park, NM; sister, Patricia D. Rael and husband, Florian of Moriarity, NM; brothers, Jerry Smith and Terry Smith, both of Sandia Park, NM; grandmothers, Eva Killingsworth of Clovis, NM and Janie Garner and husband, Ronnie of Ridgeway, SC. Services will be held Friday, 17, 2002, 2:00 p.m., at Community Church of the Sandias in Sandia Park, NM, with Rev. Mack Bernard officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain Valley Cemetery in Barton, NM. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
