Adrian E. Padilla also known as"Jennie", age 43, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2002 in a local hospital. He was born October 16, 1958 in Albuquerque to the late Horace and Paula (Perea) Padilla. He is survived by his sister, Jacqueline M. Padilla; nephews, Pablo and Abraham; niece, Gracie and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his close friend, Charles"Chas" Durham. Adrian was a member of the San Felipe Catholic Church. He was a court recorder in Bernalillo County. He graduated from Valley High School in 1976. Visitation will be held Monday, May 20, 2002 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. S.E. and the Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm. The Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in the San Felipe Catholic Church, 2005 North Palza N.W. Msgr. Leo Lucero will celebrate the Mass. Pallbearers will be Louie Padilla, Joe Padilla, Ross Padilla, Samuel Contreras, Rosemary Montano and Jimmy Suazo. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mariah Nicole Padilla, Meghan Adrian Padilla, Maureen Paddila, Matilda Padilla, Regina Romero ad Cindy Matekovic. Interment will take place at a later date. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
