Obituary for Adams

Clinton Adams, after a long productive life as artist, teacher, writer and administrator, died May 13, 2002, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his son, Michael Gerald and wife, Tracy, four grandchildren, Devon, Ian, Kayla and Gray Adams, all of Albuquerque; his sister, Margery Mackenzie of South Pasadena, California, an uncle Edward Adams of Long Beach, California; sister-in-law, Dr. Jean Willson and brother-in-law, Dr. Julius Willson of San Diego, California, three nephews, David, Douglas and Andrew Marshall and one niece, Susan Kennedy and their families, all of Arizona; cousins, Gerald, John Wallace and Douglas Mackenzie and Carol Gutoff, Judy O'Beirne, Sheila Kebow and their families-all of California; and numerous friends, both of New Mexico and in other places. A meeting of remembrance will be held in Keller Hall, UNM Center for the Arts, University of New Mexico, on May 26, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations should be made to the Clinton Adams Fund at the UNM Art Museum.
