Obituary for Tapia

Charles F. Tapia, 33, passed away May 18, 2002. A native of Albuquerque, he lived life to the fullest and brought joy to all who knew him. He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband and father. Charles was preceded in death by his grandmother Beatrice McGuinness and is survived by his wife Elena Tapia; children Felicia Tapia, Cruzita Tapia, and C.J. Tapia; mother Cruzita Tapia; father Charles McGuinness; step-father Tomas Whiting; his grandparents who raised him, Miguel and Esther Tapia; sisters Bernadette McGuinness and Virginia Gutierrez; brothers Tommy Campbell, Raymond Whiting, and Benny Garcia; numerous other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm on Tuesday, May 21, 2002. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:00am on Wednesday, May 22, 2002, with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Tapia, Steven Tapia, William Duran, Lee Montoya, Lorenzo Jaramillo, Robert Gutierrez, and Fluffy Martinez.
