Mary Louise McEnery, age 74, and a resident of Albuquerque since 1967 died at her home Sunday, May 19, 2002 following a 3-year courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by son, Martin J. McEnery of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Mary Catherine McEnery of Brookville, MD; four grandchildren, Helen, Maria, Margaret and Eva. Mrs. McEnery retired from American Furniture Co. after 20 plus years, she was a volunteer at St. Martin's Hospitality Center and Albuquerque Botanical Park. A reception honoring her life will be held Friday, May 24, 2002 at 3:00 pm at the Landmark Apartments 6303 Indian School Rd. NE. Following cremation her ashes will be returned to Colorado as per her request. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Martin;s Hospitality Center 1201 3rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE is handling her arrangements.
