Louis Rice, 79, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away June 6, 2002. He graduated from St. Mary's High School, was a navigator in World War II, and following his military service, had a career in accounting, with his brother, running Rice & Rice Accounting, for 30 years. He spent the last 12 years at Los Volcanes Senior Center, active in the Advisory Council and also served as Vice President. He is survived by four children, Thom, Luanne, Carol and Arlene; many grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 14, 2002, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW.
