Isabel Garland Jones, 84, born to Thomas and Louise Creighton on November 15, 1917 in South Charleston, West Virginia, went to be with her Lord on June 11, 2002. Isabel is survived by her husband of 64 years, Wilbert A. Jones. She was a Godly, Christian woman and loving mother of four children, Jimmy Jones and his wife, Laurann, Carolyn Purkiss and her beloved husband, Guy, already with the Lord, Perry Jones and his wife, Sherrie, and Pat Fishburn and her husband, Bill. She has seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Isabel was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tucson, Arizona where she belonged to the Lady's Club, taught vacation Bible school, and worked at the local church camp. She and Wilbert moved to Albuquerque in 1961 and were members of Monzano Baptist Church. They have lived in the Edgewood area for over 23 years. Wilbert and Isabel are members of the First Baptist Church of Edgewood where a Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday June 14, 2002.
