Obituary for Henderson

Robert W. Henderson, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, died Monday, June 10, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Berchie Henderson; sons, Robert T. Henderson and wife, Cindy and Dr. William G. Henderson and wife, Carol; grandsons, Randy Henderson and wife, Tawni, Scott Henderson and wife, Angel; granddaughters, Heather Briggs and husband, Chris, all of Albuquerque, Carolyn Constantine and husband, Paul of San Francisco, CA and Stephanie Henderson; grandson, Brian Henderson, both of Albuquerque; and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Henderson was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He retired from Sandia National Labs as a vice-president. Mr. Henderson was one of the pioneers in nuclear weapons development starting in Los Alamos in 1944. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NE, with Dr. Paul Debenport and Rev. Carl Soderberg officiating.
