Daniel Richard Drott, 66, a former Albuquerque and Belen State Farm Agent passed away on June 9, 2002. A wonderful husband, dad, grandpa and friend. His loving wife and best friend of 43 years, Sally Ann Calder Drott; six children; and seven wonderful grandchildren survive Dan. After leaving the Air Force, Dan moved to Albuquerque and started what was to be a long and successful career as an agent for State Farm Insurance. He retired in Houston after 34 years with State Farm. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 16, 2002 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE. He will be buried in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe on Monday June 17, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is handling his arrangements.
