Obituary for Draper

Ann A. Draper, 76, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 12, 2002 after a long illness. She was born in Maine, and moved with her parents to Montana, where she grew up and met her husband, Arnold. They moved to Albuquerque in 1950, and lived here the rest of their lives. Arnold pre-deceased her in 1980. In addition to being a loving mother and grandmother, Ann was always very active in the community, working with the First Congregational Church, Campfire Girls, The Storehouse, The Little School, and other community groups. She will be missed. Ann is survived by her children Susan Kauffman of Houston, TX; Addie Draper of Mountainair; and Lincoln Draper of Albuquerque; and by her grandchildren, Matthew Draper, Maia Draper, and Morgan Kauffman. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 2801 Lomas Blvd., NE, on Saturday, June 22, 2002 at 11:30 a.m.
