Obituary for Lewis

Theron Eugene Lewis, Jr., 30 years old, born May 25, 1972, died unexpectedly at his home on June 18, 2002. Theron was very creative, and he liked to work with his hands. He had a good sense of humor. Theron was a carpenter by trade. He was also a gentle spirited man who had faith in Christ. He has gone on to greener pastures to be with his heavenly Father. He was much loved by his family and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Ray Harrison; his cousin, Paul Ausbun III; and his uncle, Brian T. MacGilvary. He is survived by his father, Theron E. Lewis, Sr.; mother, Bobbie Ann Lewis; sister, Dawn Lopez and husband, Joey; two nieces, Lelia and Brianna Lopez; grandmother, Margaret A. Harrison; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Theron will remain in the hearts of those who loved him forever. Services will be held Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Robert Gleason officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Joshua Bright, James Bright, Joey Lopez, Toby Barera, Grady Ramsey and Luke Ramsey. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey F. Lopez and Jeffery Castillo. Reception will follow committal service at Garfield Gospel Chapel, 2406 Garfield Ave. SE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
