Leo Maldonado passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2002. Leo was born on February 21, 1940 in Silver City, NM and lived most of his life there before moving to Albuquerque in 1995. A Memorial Service will be held for Leo at the St. Francis Newman Center, 914 W. 13th Street in Silver City, NM on Saturday, June 22, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Leo asked that his ashes be buried next to his father at the Maldonado Family Cemetery in Gila, NM. His family will gather at a later date to fulfill Leo's request. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity in Leo Maldonado's name.
