Clorinda B. Garcia, 94, a resident of Willard, NM, passed away in Barstow, CA, Friday, June 14, 2002. She was born March 6, 1908 to Benito and Valeria (Pirro) Baca in Los Lentis, NM. She is survived by her sons, Eloy Garcia and his wife, Connie of Phelan, CA, Severo Garcia and his wife, Francis of Albuquerque, NM, Tony Garcia of Willard, NM George Garcia and his wife, Cathy of Albuquerque, NM, Johnny Garcia and his wife, Ruth of Apple Valley, CA; her daughter-in-law, Rebecca, wife of her late son, Benny; her daughters, Amalia Bruce and her husband, Arthur of Barstow, CA, Ramona Baca and her husband, Jose of Barstow, CA, Amy Carabajal of Edgewood, NM, Francis Gomez of Barstow, Eva Garcia of Pamona, CA, Olivia Enriquez and her husband, Mike of Barstow, Viola Rodriquez and her husband, Robert of Apple Valley, CA; her special granddaughter, Elma Pack of Edgewood, NM; a special grandson, Flavio Garcia of CA; she is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Flora Chavez of Willard, Fedelina Garcia of Willard; 54 grandchildren; 113 great-grandchildren; 48 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Flavio Garcia. Clorinda was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church of Willard, for many years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and was an avid doll collector. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend she will be missed by those who knew and loved her. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, June 20, 2002, 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows in Willard. A Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 21, 2002, 10:30 a.m. At Our Lady of Sorrows with Father Johnny Lee Chavez officiating. Pallbearers will be Tony Garcia, Ernie Rodriquez, Paul Otero, Juan Garcia, Mike Enriquez Jr., James Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers; Alan Carabajal, Jerry Garcia, Joey Baca, Joseph Gomez, Benny Garcia Jr. and Patrick Garcia. Burial will be at the Willard Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM, Grant G. Preston funeral director. 832-6130.
